Event by My Sister My Friend Breast Cancer Support

Join us for our virtual workshop designed to assist breast cancer survivors with mitigating the adverse side effects of cancer treatments. We believe knowledge is power.

During this workshop you will learn much needed information with hopes to assist in the area of the continuum of care. Following each presenter there will be a brief Q & A period. An opportunity to get your questions answered.
You may join from anywhere, as long as you have an internet connection and sound.
Our Agenda
Our first presenter is dental hygienist Jill Meyer-Lippert. Jill will provide information on oral health during and after chemotherapy. Jill owns and operates Side Effects Support LLC. She comes with over 25 years of experience in the field of dentistry. She also presents for Triage Cancer. Her presentations range from institutions of higher learning to community and cancer organizations such as the Young Survival Coalition (YSC). Our second presenter is Lisa Levitt Gainsley. Lisa is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist, Manual Lymphatic Drainage practitioner, Author, Educator, and Speaker. Her work has appeared in GOOP, ELLE, The Hollywood Reporter, Healthline and more. She has worked at UCLA Medical Center and been in private practice for 20 years. She holds a double certification in Lymphedema Therapy and is a member of the Lymphatic Education & Research Network (LE&RN) and National Lymphedema Network (NLN). Lisa leads workshops across the country and has pioneered the field of Lymphatic self-massage. She owns and operates The Lymphatic Message. She will be presenting on lymphedema (the causes, things to avoid relative to, and the benefits of lymphatic massage).
Our third presenter is Antoinette Greer. Antoinette is a breast cancer survivor and Executive Director of My Sister My Friend Breast Cancer Support. Antoinette has over 18 years survivorship and experience of delivering quantifiable supportive services to breast cancer patients and survivors throughout Los Angeles County. She will present on the benefits of support systems during and after treatment.
Our fourth and final presenter is Angelle Albright. Angelle will share on hair loss solutions. She owns and operators a retail store, Chemo Beanies. Angelle has donated gifts and giveaways for this workshop.
