Sisters’ Journey joined in the discussion with Radical Black Women of Greater New Haven in Partnership with UCONN’s Student National Medical Association.

Black Women Beating Breast Cancer with Breast Surgeon Dr. Kristen Zarfos.
The discussion revolved around the fact that in 2015 a troubling trend emerged showing an increased incidence of breast cancer among black women. With breast cancer occurring earlier and more aggressively in black women, they discussed that action is needed to protect your health and the health of the women you care about.
